Flynn is an energetic and committed musical director and piano accompanist. Alongside studying Music (BMus) at Royal Holloway, University of London, he works regularly with theatre companies in London, Surrey and Kent as both a musical director and a musician. Flynn is in high demand as an accompanist and works frequently with his university department as well as professional conductors and choirs in Central London. Flynn also plays oboe, accordion, percussion and saxophone, and sings musical theatre. As a vocal coach Flynn is very passionate about good vocal health and he regularly discusses vocal technique and wellbeing with experts in the field. In 2016 Flynn wrote and directed his first original musical, Medusa, in Canterbury, which had a great reception, and he is a great advocate for new musical theatre.
